Concept

Wide expanse of the river. In the middle of it there is a fence, a barrier, inside of which the duckweed is collected. Within its framework, it moves, lives, reproduces and dies. What is this barrier for? To protect or isolate? Human expels flora and fauna into reserves, into small open-air cages, appropriating all the earthly expanses for himself. It outlines the boundaries - here is an area where you cannot pick off a blade of grass, but a kilometer to the left you can already cut down forests at the root. This is protection - and yet a terrible lack of freedom.
